Strathcona Transportation Management Plan

This spring, the city will consult with residents about all type of travel in and through the Strathcona community.  These traffic studies, reviewed every 5 – 7 years, are great avenues to express traffic concerns or transportation wishes.  Concerned about crosswalk safety, cycling lanes or traffic speed?  Get involved!  See:  http://www.myhamilton.ca/myhamilton/CityandGovernment/CityDepartments/PublicWorks/

Support Local Councillor in rebuilding the Poulette St. foot bridge
Local residents hope the pedestrian bridge crossing the CP rail corridor will be rebuilt to accommodate pedestrian traffic. This bridge, located between Dundurn and Locke would give residents
better access to local amenities - shopping, errands, school work or parks.  Kirkendall residents are asking for your support in changing the City's decision to not rebuild.  Write a letter of support to your Ward Councillor and the Mayor.  See: http://www.myhamilton.ca/myhamilton/CityandGovernment/YourElectedOfficials/
