Eat Local - Food Issues
Working Group

OPIRG Logo

OPIRG McMaster's Eat Local working group aims to bring people together around food security issues, with an emphasis on the importance of eating locally produced foods. Currently, our function is to hold potlucks, workshops and other gatherings in order to raise awareness, and cultivate the knowledge and skills needed to transform our personal health, the health of our communities and the state of world food politics.

How to get involved:

1. Join our Eat Local email listserve! Through this listserve we organize/announce events and share all other relevant information. Email - fleming.julie@gmail.com
